Bilingual without an agency
In East Belgium, French is everyday life. How the second language gets onto your site, with no translation agency and no double upkeep.
If you run a business in Eupen, Kelmis or St. Vith, you have customers from Verviers, Liège and Aachen. German alone is not enough then, and a site that is only found in German loses a large share of its enquiries before they even arise.
The usual solution
The usual solution is expensive: translation agency, language plugin, and afterwards two sites that drift apart, because the change in German never makes it into the French.
How it works with me
With me, multilingualism is built in. You add the language, one click translates, you proofread and approve. The suggestion comes from the machine, but it never goes live unseen: you have the last word, on every sentence. If you later change a price or a photo, it applies to all languages at once, nothing is maintained twice.
Examples from my own work
5 of the 9 websites I have built so far have two to thirteen languages. Fabry Baumpflege in German and French for East Belgium and the Verviers area, Henkes Industries in four languages for all of Europe, Celine Peichl in German, English and Spanish.
What Google needs
What counts for Google is that every language has its own address and the pages know about each other. That is built in too, you do not need to know it. But it is the reason a bilingual site from me is also found bilingually.
