MARIE CERAMICS

Hand-thrown ceramics from Eupen. Every piece is one of a kind, reserved over WhatsApp.

Going online soon. As soon as the site runs at its address, the link goes here.

My sister Marie has been throwing pots since January 2025 and is now going independent with it. Having family as a client means very honest feedback, dinner included.

Home, products, gallery, in German and French. It is not a classic shop: every piece exists once, collection is in Eupen, and it all starts with a message to Marie.

Marie takes the product photos herself; the large opening picture and the gallery pictures are by Celine Peichl. I wrote the first texts, and Marie has long since made them her own.

Marie Ceramics will look after texts, images and new content itself, in two languages as soon as the new site is live. Website designed and built by Laconis, web design from East Belgium, 2026.

Special features

What exists only on this site.

  • Reserve over WhatsApp

Tap a piece and WhatsApp opens with a ready-made message to Marie that names the piece and sends the link. If there is a price, it is in the message; if not, the message politely asks for one.

  • Sold pieces stay visible

Once a piece is gone it gets a tag and stays put, so you can see what else comes out of her kiln.

  • Her own categories and prices

Marie creates her categories in ContentCore and sets a price or leaves it out. You filter by category and by what is still available.

  • A preview for every piece

Share a piece and the link shows the logo and the photo of exactly that piece, in WhatsApp and anywhere links get a preview.

  • A logo that draws itself

Marie drew the monogram herself. I traced it cleanly and animated it for the site: on load it draws itself over a picture from the workshop.
