Website in Aachen: ranking ahead of the twenty others
Aachen is big, and on Google it is crowded. What a website has to do there, and what a business from East Belgium does differently.
In Aachen thousands of people search every day for a tradesperson, a workshop, a shop. The map shows three, the first page ten. Whoever is not there does not exist for the person searching. That is the difference from a village: in the city the question is not whether you have a website, but whether it ranks ahead of the twenty others.
Three things count for that. The Google profile with reviews, photos and the right district, because people in Aachen search for Brand, Burtscheid or Laurensberg, not the whole city. A site that loads within seconds, because Google measures load time and the visitor on the phone does not wait. And text that says exactly what you do, in the words your customers type.
What I do differently: your site sets no cookies, so it needs no banner, and it runs without plugins that want an update every month. French and English are built in, in case your customers come from Belgium and the Netherlands, which happens in Aachen more often than you would think.
I am based in Eupen, on the other side of the border, and build websites for businesses in the Euregio. Three businesses in Simmerath are already live. We have the first conversation at your place in Aachen, at mine in Eupen or by video, after that almost everything happens by phone and in the browser.
